Jim Rees
Scout Executive  
Start Date: January 1st, 2018.
Jim began his Scouting career in 1991 as a District Executive in Evangeline Area Council in Lafayette, Louisiana, before serving that Council as a Field Director. In 2001,became the Director of Field Service in East Carolina Council in Kinston, North Carolina. In 2004, he returned to Evangeline Area Council as the Scout Executive. In 2008, he was promoted to Associate Regional Director of Finance for the Southern Region. Jim then accepted the position of Director of Development in Sam Houston Area Council in Houston, Texas, followed by a promotion to the Council’s Chief Development Officer. Jim and his wife, Jeannine Lanoux, have three daughters.
Miranda Trotman
Marketing and Communications Executive 
Start Date: December 1st, 2017.
Miranda Trotman grew up in the mitten shaped state of Michigan and graduated from Full Sail University, in Orlando FL. Miranda’s previous employment has been with Major League Baseball’s Detroit Tigers, and their Minor League Team, The Lakeland Flying Tigers. She acted as Graphics Designer/Video Technician and Social Media Manager. As well as working for the Tigers Organization, she worked for Seminole County Government and still owns/operates Miranda Lauren Marketing. Miranda loves theatre, reading and hanging out with her nephews.

Jeremy Twachtman
District Executive
Start Date: October 1st, 2017
Jeremy Twachtman is a graduate from Florida State University and a third generation Eagle Scout. He has a passion for serving and helping others. He is also involved in many other positions revolving around rebuilding and serving those in need. Previously, he spent two years working for a local nonprofit, helping to repair homes of the less fortunate, and six years prior working for a mission camp organization. He is married to wife Caroline of eight years and has a bright and beautiful two year old girl.

Catherine “Cat” Ardes

Programs Assistant 
Start Date: October 1st, 2017
Catherine Ardes ( affectionately known as Cat) grew up in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania. She attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where she received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English with a concentration in Film and minor in Spanish. She spent almost two years teaching English overseas in Comunidad de Madrid before she came to the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council. Cat loves traveling, experiencing different cultures, photography and manatees.
