ScoutReach is the dedicated outreach initiative of the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council, committed to uplifting underserved communities through Scouting. Our innovative approach involves:

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with youth-centric organizations to expand our reach.
  • Supportive Funding: Subsidizing Scouting units to make the experience accessible to all.
  • Professional Leadership: Ensuring quality guidance for every Scout.

Our Mission: To offer a complete Scouting experience, enriched with life-long benefits, to underprivileged youth in Tampa Bay.

 

 

Empowering Local Youth

Who We Serve

ScoutReach focuses on providing children and adolescents with opportunities to develop character, moral, and ethical decision-making skills. Our programs cater to:

  • Cub Scouts: Elementary school boys and girls.
  • Scouts BSA: Middle and high school boys and girls.
  • Enriched Learning: Weekly meetings with advancement opportunities, integrated with Florida’s school curriculum.
  • Exciting Adventures: 4-6 local, Scouting-focused trips annually.

How We Serve

Our flexible service models include community, after-school, and remote programs, ensuring no child is left behind. Tailored to community needs, we offer:

  • Scout Essentials: T-shirts, uniform closets, and meeting supplies.
  • Outdoor Experiences: Outings, camping, and necessary equipment.
  • Professional Assistance: Support staff for smooth program operation.
