The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character, train them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develop personal fitness. We believe that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible and productive society.

Scouting Programs
All of our programs are available to both boys and girls.
Cub Scouts (Kindergarten to 5th Grade)
Cub Scouts is an active program for children (both boys and girls) in kindergarten through fifth grade and their families that encourages learning, friendship—and most of all—getting out and having fun! Your child will join with others in the same grade in a “den” led by the parents and have a Handbook of adventures for their grade level. All of the Cub Scouts and families in the dens make up the “pack”, also led by parents. With an emphasis on outdoor events, small gatherings, and activities with family, Cub Scouts is a great way to let your kids safely socialize, learn, and have fun.
Scouts BSA (late 5th Grade through 18 years old)
Scouts BSA is a year-round program for youth 11-17 years old that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves. Open to young women as well as young men, all of whom will have the chance to earn Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.
In Scouts BSA, young men and women go places, test themselves, and have one-of-a-kind adventures that can’t be found anywhere else.
Venturing (completed 8th Grade through 20 years old)
Venturing is a youth development program for young men and women who are 13 and have completed the eighth grade, or age 14 through 20 years of age. Venturing’s purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.
Sea Scouts (completed 8th Grade through 20 years old)
Sea Scouts is a specialized segment of the Venturing program, which was organized to enhance members’ boating skills and promote knowledge of our maritime heritage. No prior boating experience is needed to join!
Exploring (ages 14 through 20 years old)
Exploring is a unique career exploration program for young men and women ages 14-20. It provides students with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of career fields and network with professionals already working in those fields.
