Greater Tampa Bay Area Council Venturing
Welcome to the GTBAC Venturing page where you’ll learn about what’s happening in our council!
Council Venturing Officers Association (VOA)
The VOA is a Venturing umbrella organization in our council made up of a President and a cabinet of officers, along with the presidents of every registered crew. The VOA meets periodically throughout the year via Zoom and/or VOA-sponsored weekends or events. Representatives from the VOA:
- Provide training and resources to support council crews
- Communicate Venturing activities and information to GTBAC crews through traditional and social media
- Plan and execute VOA events geared to all council crews
- Interview and select VOA officers
- Recognize the achievements of GTBAC Venturers and crews
- Connect with the GTBAC council leadership
- Engage with the Council Service Territory 16 Venturing leadership.
