GTBAC VOA OFFICER POSITION DESCRIPTIONS 040126

The VOA is a Venturing umbrella organization in our council made up of a President and a cabinet of officers, along with the presidents of every registered crew. The VOA meets periodically throughout the year via Zoom and/or VOA-sponsored weekends or events. Representatives from the VOA:

Provide training and resources to support council crews
Communicate Venturing activities and information to GTBAC crews through traditional and social media
Plan and execute VOA events geared to all council crews
Interview and select VOA officers
Recognize the achievements of GTBAC Venturers and crews
Connect with the GTBAC council leadership
Engage with the Council Service Territory 16 Venturing leadership.
