The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council has established this fund to assist those needing help with the recent BSA National Membership fee increase.

We recognize the fee increase is substantial and we believe what youth learn and experience in Scouting is invaluable.  We are grateful to all our volunteers and families for their leadership and participation in Scouting.  The Executive Board is looking at ways to reduce local program costs to our Units and Scouting families going forward; further information will be provided in the coming months.


To Apply For Assistance

  • Fill out the form on this page once per person you are requesting assistance
  • You may request up to the amount of the increase ($27)
  • To be considered, you must fill out the form completely
  • You will be notified by Mid-December if you are receiving aid
