Five outstanding young men from Troop 329 — chartered by St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Tampa — earned the highest rank in Scouting: the Eagle Scout Award. This achievement represents years of leadership, perseverance, and meaningful service to their community.

Each Scout completed a unique Eagle Project that created lasting impact across the Tampa Bay area:

  • Landen L. led a school supply drive benefiting Gulf Coast Padres de Crianza, a program that supports Latino families in Tampa Bay. His project supported more than 60 families preparing for the 2024–2025 school year.

  • Nicolas B. constructed a peaceful prayer garden at Mother Theresa Catholic School in Lutz.

  • Christopher K. built custom storage pallets for the food bank ministry at Matthew 25, a service arm of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

  • Jacob S. created a “book nook” and hosted a book drive for RCMA Wimauma Academy, which serves low-income and migrant children.

  • Eaven M. built a prayer garden for St. Lawrence Catholic Church to provide a place of reflection and peace.

Four of the Scouts — Landen, Nicolas, Christopher, and Jacob — are seniors at Jesuit High School and have been friends since first grade. Eaven is a recent graduate of Tampa Bay Technical High School and now attends Hillsborough Community College.

“Having five Scouts from the same troop achieve this incredible milestone in one year is unique and impressive,” said Teresa Peterson, Director of Diocesan Information and Communications at the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council proudly celebrates these young men for their achievements and their commitment to living the Scout Oath and Law in service to others. Congratulations to the newest Eagle Scouts of Troop 329!
