The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council is proud to recognize Cub Scouts from Pack 313 for their incredible act of kindness this Valentine’s Day. With a mission to spread joy, these young Scouts dedicated their Tuesday meeting before Valentine’s Day to crafting handmade Valentine’s cards, each filled with kind words and cheerful designs. To make the occasion even more special, they also brought beautiful flowers to share.
After preparing their thoughtful gifts, the Scouts visited residents of a local assisted living facility to personally deliver the Valentine’s Day surprises. This simple yet meaningful act of service led to many smiles, heartfelt conversations, and joyful moments for both the Scouts and the recipients.
“We brought flowers and handmade Valentine’s Cards which we made at our Tuesday meeting; and our scouts went around and gave them to the residents to cheer them up. It was very sweet!” said Debbie Rath, a Pack 313 leader.
This heartwarming effort truly embodies the spirit of Scouting, reinforcing the values of service, kindness, and community engagement. While Valentine’s Day is just one day, the impact of these small yet powerful gestures will be remembered long after.
The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council extends a big thank you to Pack 313 for their dedication to making a difference in the community. Keep up the fantastic work!
