October Join Scouting Night – Pack 135 Heritage United Methodist Clearwater

Halloween Fun with Pack 135: Sunday, October 18 at 3pm at Heritage United Methodist Church, 2680 Landmark Drive Clearwater

Join Pack 135 for our Halloween Fun Pack Meeting. We will host fun games with prizes, a costume contest and a Trick or Treat parade. Join us for some fun and not scare Halloween fun and learn about Cub Scout life. *Kids may wear costumes but please nothing scary.

Pack 135 welcomes families with boys & girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Current scouts and families will be present as well. Learn how Pack 135 #AdventuresOn.

We generally meet on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month from September to May. This year’s adventures will include 4 family campouts, Pinewood Derby, fishing, community service, council events and more.

If you cannot join us on October 18, join us at another fall pack meeting: September 20 or August 30 at 3pm at Heritage United Methodist Church.

Join Scout Night FAQ

Join Scouting Night is an exciting event where families can learn all about the Scouting program, meet local leaders, and sign up their children to become Scouts. It’s a great opportunity to discover the fun and adventure that Scouting offers.

Your child should receive a flyer from school a day or two before the event. Additionally, look for yard signs on your school campus to remind you of the date and time.

At Join Scouting Night, you’ll:

• Meet local Scout leaders and volunteers
• Learn about the Scouting program and its benefits
• Get information on upcoming activities and events
• Complete the registration process for your child
• Have your questions answered by experienced Scouting representatives

Yes, you are welcome to attend any local Join Scouting Night event that fits your schedule, even if your child does not attend that school. Choose a date and time that works best for your family.

Go to the event you’re interested in and reach out to our District Professional (our organizers). They will be available to answer any questions you may have.

If you can’t make it to Join Scouting Night, don’t worry! You can still join the Scouting program. Contact us using the information above, and we’ll help you get started, or visit beascout.org to sign up online

Scouting is open to boys and girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade. There are various programs tailored to different age groups, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for everyone.

Your child doesn’t need to bring anything specific to Join Scouting Night. Just come ready to learn and have fun!
