Join us and march in the 2020 Gasparilla Children’s Parade – January 18, 2020

You must register for the parade to join. Once registered, you can come by the council office to pick up a wristband (please note the council office will be closed Friday, January 17th, 2020). All participants must be registered and have a wristband. The cost for each wristband is $5.

You can also purchase beads through the registration link. Only approved beads can be thrown during the parade. If you do not purchase beads through the registration link, you can purchase them on your own through the South Tampa Trading Company.

We will have a float along with walking participants. Riding on the float is reserved for Scouts and will be done via a lottery on the day of the parade, about 30-45 minutes before the parade steps off (all float riders must be in the scout “class A” uniform). All others will be walking behind the float. No changes in riders on the float can be made after the parade starts.

Participants can start gathering for the parade at 1:30pm on Saturday, January 18th. Our staging area is #98 & #99 off Bayshore Blvd. and West Chapin Ave. One parking option is available at the Fort Brooke Garage (Franklin & Whiting St.) with an express shuttle that can take you to the beginning of the parade route for $10.
